My wife just saw the 6.2 .. she dosnt want me to buy them she wants me to go with the 6.3 for its looks ...you should make your wife happy. professor This is definitely a case where you should "force" yourself to settle for the 6.3 speakers... after all, pleasing your wife has its rewards. ;D ;D ;D

i recived the speakers 3x 6.2. I only had a few hours listening to them. One of the speaker seems to produce a weird sound like clicking noise or maybe it was part of the movie.. Will check it out later. The 6.2 produced clean and acurate sound unlike the polks . I can finally watch movies without subtitles. Other than that havent notice anything diffrent regarding imaging and soundstage but that might change once i upgrade my source .

I just had a chance to hear 2 different pairs of ERM 6.2's. One with the original xover components, one used with modified enclosures and redone xover parts.
For about $500 a pair shipped, they are a pretty clear sounding speaker with a relatively flat frequency response(though imaging and focus is significantly smeared and wavers side to side I noticed depending on power used). The cabinet is plain jane but pretty stout, relatively inert and the drivers themselves are definetly a good quality, the xovers though use real cheap caps and coils. But with some deflex pads installed with activated carbon and the xovers redone(the xover parts used in em are cheap)with some quality sonicaps and inductors these speakers really come alive with significantly improved imaging and focus. Alot of upside to these speakers for those who like to DIY and tinker.
