Damn! I need a new boat!!
Two of my former coworkers were admiring the new cabin-cruiser boat one had purchased. The more beer they consumed, the better the boat looked. One finally commented, I really like the way that the stern is so low in the water - it makes the boat look really rakish. Wait - it didn't look that way a while ago... They then realized that they'd forgotten to put the plug in and the boat sank at the dock. At the same boat landing, I once saw an inebriated fellow trying to drive his boat onto the trailer. After two unsuccessful attempts, the guy on the boat apparently lost patience, rammed the throttle on, and the boat ran up the trailer, sheared the winch, and landed in the back of the pickup truck bed. The guy on the boat was apparently unhurt, but you could see his feet and legs sticking up & waving around above the boat. The guy in the truck, apparently embarrassed, put the truck in gear and drove off down the road with the boat still in the truck bed, legs and feet still waving in the breeze. |
