thanks everyone for your opinions coming up with a decision was driving me insane, but afte giving it some thought i decided to spend some extra money on the speaker and going from 2 channels to 5.1 so this is what i finally got www.aperionaudio.com/product/Intimus-6T-Grand-XD,128,72,291.aspx i just received them and they look great (even the wife likes them) i just haven't tested them (talk about torture) these system comes with a 30 day trial with free shipping both ways so even if i decide i don't like them i lose nothing.
On the same note (and this is where most of you will hate me ) i decided to go cheap and go for the new onkyo 5007 receiver since i was already spending almoust $5000 on the speakers alone i guess i can always upgrade later on to emotivas if not completely satisfied , ohh yeah and also got me the oppo blue ray and logitech's one control remote as an added bonus
