Anyone have thoughts on some type of wall mounting option for getting a pair of 6.3's off the floor? I'm thinking about a pair for front mains, but would love to get them up off the floor (and out of reach of my soon-to-be-mobile 9-month old).
If no wall mount posssibilities, any stand recommendations?

At the Emotiva office they had some mounted in the testing room. You may just want to give them a call and see what they used.

Check the dimensions to see how much overhang you'll have and whether it'll be acceptable to you of not.

I was looking to do the same thing but in the user manual for the speaker it recommends at least 2 ft clearance from the sides and back. Is it possible to get a wall mount that gives you that much clearance or is that clearance really that important? I have some 6.3s coming in on Friday and if the wife likes them, she's wanting them mounted to the wall. Thoughts? Thanks

I have a pair of ERM-1s mounted to the wall with the BT77 brackets. work fine. I don't think any issue with using them for 6.3s, other than they might be a bit top-heavy.

LOL....for the record.....if I had my 6.3s hanging off the wall, 'secured' by a clamp squeezing the bottom of the speaker, being 'a bit top heavy' might be a fairly serious issue. Even if one was inclined to be a butcher and run a couple screws in 'just for safety', it's still not a system I'd be too comfortable with. But maybe that's just the engineer in me coming out...never mind. R

Correct if I am wrong, but I don't think that will provide the 2ft clearance that ammosenior was looking for?

I'm thinking a ceiling mount (a drop tube or maybe cables (or both)) might work better for this? Some screws in the cabinet might be inevitable for that though.
Or maybe make a "box" for the speaker that encloses it from 4 or 5 sides and screw into that? Have some small L clips around the front to stop it sliding out?

But maybe that's just the engineer in me coming out...never mind. LOL - I over design everything as well. That said - it all depends on the application. If they are mounted in a place that's secure, nobody is touching it, etc. - those stands are more secure than they look. Having them a bit top heavy isn't an issue if you can tip them back towards the wall. However, as noted - no - they will not move the speaker out 2 feet from the wall. That would require some serious bracing - these speakers a pretty heavy and 2 feet would create a pretty serious lever.

Oops! Well, thanks for responding to my question! Actually though, I'm kind of with ammosenior in looking for a solution that can get them mounted on the wall AND about 2' off the wall. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the sound generally said to improve (tighter bass, better imaging, better soundstage) when the speakers are located about 2' or more off the room boundaries? I'm currently using this articulating mount with a 22" HP TouchSmart PC that weights about 40 lbs. and the thing is rock solid. It can extend out to 25 inches. My thinking is this could easily handle the 6.2 and most likely the 6.3. One thing that I am curious about is whether there is enough area on the back of the 6.2 and/or 6.3 to accomodate the mounting plate though. cgi.ebay.com/plasma-LCD-TV-wall-mount-for-Samsung-23-26-32-40-b04_W0QQitemZ120410517967QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item1c0906b1cf
