What a great addition to my system! I am running a 7.1 system with a Onkyo TX-SR876 receiver, a SVS PB12 plus sub, and all Polk RTi series speakers. With the XPA-3 driving the front RTiA7's and CSiA6 center, and the Onkyo left to run the FXiA6 surrounds and FXiA4 rear surrounds, the system woke up from a long nap!
Not only am I amazed about how the amp brought the front channels to life, but also amazed about how the receiver now really drives the surround channels with its burden reduced.
I watched a Chris Botti Blu-ray concert last night and could not believe the absolute clarity and definition that I have never heard in my system before. I just could not be happier. I was a little sceptical about how much difference I would notice, but it is in fact a whole new level of excellent sound quality. Great investment.

Hey glad to hear you are pleased with your xpa3! ;D My poor yammie was takin' a lickin' driving all these Polkies! I had a similar experience when i plugged in the xpa5 to my RTiA 9's/RTiA 7's/CSi A6. It was as if i had totally new speaker's! Now the yammie drive's only the FXi A6's and even they have improved SQ

Are you still messing with settings and tweaking or have you gotten things how you like them for now?
I am adding the XPA-3 to my 805 and will be doing somewhat the same thing, though with Fxi50's as the rear surrounds.
Did you notice an increase in the surrounds AND rear surrounds? I have yet to even find a good "demo" to compare the before and after with.
