I am designing and building a theater room from scratch and I am having a problem with finding a HDMI cable 30-35ft long that can support 1080P. Emotiva's cable is only 25ft...... So after doing some looking and reading on some other AV forum's I was wondering if anyone has 30-35 monoprice HDMI cables running 1080P. Also I found these cables and was wandering peoples thoughts on these.... www.smartvm.com/HDMI-FIBER-OPTIC-CABLE-EXTENDER-33ft-P24158.htmHas any one used any of these? www.hdtvsupply.com/hdmiextenders.html

I have no experience with monoprice HDMI cables (I have their other cables which seem to be fine) but what I would suggest is to take a look at the Blue Jeans Cable site (www.bluejeanscable.com) and their HDMI section. I have one of their HDMI cables and it seems to be of very high quality (I have no complaints) but I think regardless, it would be helpful to read the information they have available on their site regarding the cables, installation issues, etc.

I`m not familiar with any of them and my monoprice HDMI is 25' so no help there , but the optical one is only HDMI1.1 compliant so I would think the boosters are your best bet

I bought two 50 footers from Amazon.com last march. These specifically: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CMRVH0/ref=oss_T15_productThey work just fine going from my Integra DHC 9.9 preamp to my Samsung 61" LED TV, and from my Uverse box back to my Integra. I send 1080P signals from my oppo BD-83 and they are perfect.

If you are running that length, it's likely you are in a wall/ceiling... make sure it's CL2 or CL3 rated. I have a 50ft monoprice CL2 running at 1080p with no issues. $80... not bad in my opinion for a one time cost...

Impact Acoustics SonicWave line of HDMI cables will easily work with those distances. On their web site, Impact Acoustics also sells HDMI signal boosters that are effective upto 100s of feet. Blue Jeans and Impact Acoustics are the two brands that Audioholics always seems to recommend. I have used Impact Acoustic cables for years and had very good results at reasonable prices.
If you check their site for the exact model number you want you can then Google it to find other resellers who have the exact cable at lower prices. Hint, hint. I often save 50% or more doing this.

The Monoprice inwall cabling (the thick stuff) has always passed anything I have thrown at it at any length they sell. Too bad you can't use the Emotiva...the flatness of the cable is really great to work with.

Hey Guys! I just heard of a new company start up I believe out of New York and they have three packs of 1.4 HDMI cables for under 20.00 per set. That's the price of the 10ft. pack. The others are a bit cheaper. The owner tells me they've only been open for a couple of weeks. The company name is Solecable. Have any of you done business with them yet?
The owner wrote back to me in minutes with a reply and I am waiting for another anytime now. Looks like they are trying to keep prices affordable.

I went ahead and took the plunge with solecable company and I for roughly 19.97 dollars, purchased three ten foot 1.4 HDMI cables. This price was for all three together. I expect to receive them on Wednesday. How do you think they will work with the UMC1 that I just purchased? Can the UMC1 work with these cables?

I've got the more expensive one Monoprice sells, silver plated I think and inwall rated. Mine is either 25ft or 30, can't remember, but it passes 1080p just fine and the picture is better than the cheaper monoprice HDMI cables I was using.
