Well, I just got my ET-3 I ordered so I could trigger on my XPA-2 from my receiver rather than walking over and pushing the button. Works great, thanks Emo.
One thing that people who are considering them should know that I didn't really think about, is thats one helluva lot of (very bright) blue lights! So if you need to not see the lights, make sure there is someplace you can stick it away because there is no way to turn them off.

+1. Same here. I set mine up a couple of weeks ago, and had to move it to behind my APC. It was literally making it impossible to watch anything. Works great, but WAY too bright.

Ditto. With the addition of the XPA-1s, it became tiresome to power them all up manually. The ET-3 did the trick. I have mine inside my cabinet just above the DSP so when I close the door, the lights are hidden.

I put a piece of black electrical tape across the lights on mine...

Mine is facing backwards behind my ERM-6.3. For a while the lights shined forward through the space under the speaker and my small isolation blocks.

This is my first post to this forum. I've looking both high and low for this type of device, and it's by far the best I've seen of its kind. Way to go Emotiva! Now I don't have to worry whether a receiver has a trigger out or not, only a switched outlet!! It opens up a lot more opportunities And it's reasonably priced, too!

I am connecting the ET-3 to the MPS-2 and need advice. - The MPS-2 does not utlize a (1/4" SwitchCraft number 11) connector. - The MPS-2 has a "PLUG" with POSITIVE and NEGATIVE leads. To connect the two, I plan to "cut" off an end on a standard MONO to MONO cable. -- Wiring the "TIP" to "POSITIVE" -- Wiring the "SLEEVE" to "GROUND" Any input from anyone
