I picked up an ERC-1 in October, and things were going well until a few days ago. As info, this is my first Emotiva product.
Friday evening, I was listening to CDs, and all was well. I probably listened to 5 or so discs without any problems. When I decided to change the music at one point, the loader would not pull the new disc all the way in. It would grab the disc, pull it about 90% of the way in, then just stop. I tried repeatedly, but to no avail.
So, I decided to try another disc. With the next disc, the player pulled it all of the way in, then displayed "loading" on the screen for about 30 seconds. The screen then flashed with "No Disc" and the player proceeded to eject the disc I inserted (without playing it). I tried 5-10 discs, but the player will no longer read any of them.
I have tried turning the unit on and off, leaving it off overnight, etc, and the situation does not change. Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot it or will I have to work with tech support when the offices open tomorrow/Tuesday.
Let me know. Thanks.
Eric

Call Tech Support. You have a 5 year warranty.....take advantage.
I've had mine since last may or so when they first came out and have no issues.
