Please announce transition to 2nd Pre-order List

Hi,

I check these boards at least twice a day. I sense I am not alone!

Would it be possible for Emotiva to announce when they have transitioned to fulfilling orders from the 2nd Pre-order list? As someone on this 2nd list, it would at least give me a sense that my number might be coming up sooner or later.

I guess I am looking at least another month or two (yikes!) at this point.

With the current set back, I wouldn't expect to see the 2nd pre-order fulfilled until April or later, based on what was said during the last webcast.

i would also _love_ to know the current best estimate of when the first member of the second pre-order list will be contacted. i signed up on ~11/11/09 and that will at least give me something to go on.

Ouch. I've been waiting 4 years (July 2006) for this new place to get built, and I'm finally in on Mar8th! the UMC is to be the corner stone of my HT.
I'm dead in the water without it.

I thought I signed up early...( 9/04/08 { the date that I emailed Jennifer to confirm my UMC-1 preorder } which was 2 weeks before that by phone. )

Oh well, that is the way it goes!

I ordered April 3rd or 4th 2008......and I still haven't received mine....that was opening day for preorders....its gonna be awhile.

Keep in mind that, presumably, all shipments from China are still happening on schedule. I'd be amazed if they weren't. Once the patch is out and working shipments should proceed rather quickly. Of course there will be some delay, but it shouldn't be too bad.

If Emo is still ironing out some bugs my guess would be that they stopped shipments from China...Emo doesn't want to have to update every unit they get..they'd rather have it done at the factory...

See the thread "The Definitive UMC-1 Status Page"...just 2 minutes before the last post here Big Dan posted that the shipments will be resuming within the next day or so.

I'd say that 2 communications within 5 days on the status from the pres himself is pretty good communication. We can say what we want about the past communication, but it's hard to argue that they didn't listen to our complaints on the lack of communication. Great job, Big Dan!

Looks like 8 minutes AFTER my post to me....but then I'm probably just too old to be able to read a time stamp.
