Hello, I'm considering the USP-1 primarily for the phono stage, but since it can also accomodate other inputs I will utilize them. My current setup is an Onkyo receiver I use as a pre/pro, it drives my center and rear speakers and L&R preouts to UPA-2 to drive mains. I need some USP-1 hook up advice. I plan on using a turntable and two CD players connected to the USP-1. I can't locate the TT close enough to use the Onkyo's phono stage thus the need for the USP-1. For this setup I found the lowest capacitance shielded 12' cables @12pf/FT that I could find so I'm not concerned with signal loss or hum. The question now is how to integrate the USP-1 into my system? Can I use the full range outs of the USP-1 to a line level input on the Onkyo and select the appropiate input on USP-1 and proper input on receiver to listen to source equipment? Second thought, just swap out the cables on UPA-2 with the USP-1 cables when I want to use my analog sources and back again with HT. Please forgive my ignorance of the subject matter. I have been looking at so many outboard phono stages to use with my table and to achieve decent results I would have to spend considerably more than I was welling to spend until I found the USP-1 which would seem to be the ideal component to meet all of my needs. I appreciate all feedback and advice as to the best way to do what I am attempting to discribe. Thank you all. Jeff
