I have been searching the reviews for speakers and seem to have my choices down to these 3... song towers...rocket 850 sigs...and the emo 8.3 and 6.3 center...all of these speakers I have never heard but buying online is a better bang for the buck..no salesman fees...i currently have paradigm monitor 9's v6 and all of these speakers mentioned should do better than the monitors which are way too bright for listening to music which i do listen to sometimes but 90 percent is home theater...any opinions ...comments suggestions would be great...thsanks

I have only heard the 850's...have owned them for 2 years now. If the price is right, they are fantastic bargains. I cannot stand edgy, brittle, fatigue inducing speakers and these are not. Smooth, sweet high end, punchy detailed mid range and nice bottom end but I use a big sub so....not so important to me. These speakers have massive dynamics that will totally immerse you in the action of a film or the most delicate passages of your fav music, the detail in the instruments and vocals is superb. Build quality, fit and finish is beyond words especially at this price point. Highly recommended as long as they are in stock and no pre payment before shipping. Previously owned Axiom M80 for one year, not bad speaker over all but way too bright for me when at generous volume levels, before that was the Klipsch RF 83 for 6 months...ouch, can you say horns hurt my ears? Before that was the Mirage Omni 260's, nice speakers for the money and still use as surrounds. Before that for many, many years were my trusty old British Wharfedale Mach v...loved those guys till i hooked up my big amp to them one night and....oops, tweetes blown Good luck!
