Many people on the second pre-order list are getting their units or have been notified. I am curious how many of you guys who have received your UMC or have been notified to expect them are in the 20% upgrade pool. Just trying to judge how that group is progressing. (I am not complaining about the process, just wondering how it is going)

Yeah, I would think with as large as the 1st preorder list was that in order to be on the 2nd one already that a ton of the "upgrades" would have needed to have been fulfilled. I understand the need to get some $$ coming in, but it really sucks to have been a "day one" preorder guy and have people that just signed up this fall already getting product!

I believe I signed up on the first day of the first pre-order list and not not received a request for cc info. I have received my confirmation of being on the preorder list though.

I speak from experience, but then again I just bought a USP-1 & ERC-1 two weeks back, and I have a LMC-1 with a blu-ray that has decoders for the analog inputs so I'm not getting the "I Gotta Have The UMC-1 Now" feelings.  |

How is that bye the way? I also have the USP-1, ERC-1 with a MMC-1 pre/pro. Got the subwoofer dialed in for cd's and just ordered the Oppo 83 which I plan on using analog cables to the MMC-1. Did you have to boost the LFE output on your blu ray player to the LMC-1 to get your sub level up for watching movies? |

I don't remember when I signed up and don't have any emails left to document. I just called the other day to see where I was on the list and they told me late January. After I hadn't heard anything, I called back and they told me I was ready to ship. Mine is an upgrade from the LMC-1 so at least we know that some upgrades are shipping.
I'm sure having a unit with preloaded updates is going to be much smoother than the experience some people have had. ;D

I am somewhere on the first list and an upgrade from LMC-1. I have not gotten a purchase email yet. However, with the threads regarding issues with the PS3, my primary source, maybe it is a good thing to wait and see what the results are.

I signed up on the 1st list one of the first days (I have a 40% discount coming)...still nothing. I was told later in January in the middle of January when I emailed once. I went ahead and got one off another forum member as I was tired of waiting.
If there was a way for me to give my preorder spot to someone else without incurring a penalty for anyone, I'd do it and chalk it up as good karma for me.

I'm kind of surprised that no upgraders seem to have received their UMC. At least they haven't posted about it here. Maybe it was the final 20% that they were talking about.  I'm not complaining yet but it just seems strange. |

I haven't received mine yet but as I posted earlier in this thread, my CC has been charged and my unit is on the way. It should be here by Thursday or Friday so some of the upgrade group is being delivered. ;D You are the first of the upgraders that has mentioned having one in transit. The only e-mail I have received was the one in October verifying that I still wanted to be on the list, and I haven't heard a peep out of them otherwise. It would be nice to get an e-mail but I won't be jumping off the deep-end anytime soon, especially when the decoders in my blu-ray are doing the work for now. |

When I called Emotiva last week, they told me March (I'm fairly early on the first list) but I haven't received any emails, while some people are being notified to expect shipments in April. Not sure what to think.
