Sweet,
Maybe I should send them to Harmony, so if my UMC makes it tomorrow, I can use my "one" right away.

Are a PDF and a Plain Text document sufficient? Is there any format these need to be? HTML?

Don't know about anybody else, but I saw a post on the harmony forum, where someone sent logitech a PDF of the codes, and they updated his account.
Quick ? I am assuming that the HDMI inputs are the Cable, DVD, Sat, etc... is that correct? Or are the discrete HDMI codes not available?

Thanks, Dann!! Except I don't see the discrete inputs in the file ?? There is Aux 1, Aux 2, Aux 3, Sat, DVD etc. I would assume these are the inputs.

Don't have one though.

Shouldn't there be codes for each of the 17 logical inputs? or however many there are? For instance I want it to switch directly to Input 7, which is my Wii and is using analog audio 1 and componenet video 1.

Im a loyal Emo customer, but ummmm...why should it be up to us to have Harmony do this, I feel this is Emotiva's duty for proper integration into our home system
Anyway so what is the next step in having full and hassle free control of our UMC's with Logitech. Will one person emailing them the codes update the entire database for all or is it on an individual basis?

I believe its individual.
And I agree it would be nice to have Emotiva (if its possible), update logitech, so it could be in the database for everyone.

I have sent several emails to Logitech to find out how to get the codes in their system. Unfortunately, I have not had any luck in this regard. Will keep trying though.

And I spent quite a while leaving messages to various people 'in charge of such things' at Logitech. They. Do. Not. Care.

Any comment on the whereabouts of codes for direct input access?

Any comment on the whereabouts of codes for direct input access? Yeah, I thought this was the whole point, i.e. going directly to HDMI 3 instead of scrolling through, Tuner, HDMI 1 and HDMI 2.

They're in the file that Dann linked to: Tuner, I assume, is the discrete code for tuner; DVD is the discrete code for DVD (although you may have renamed it on the display); Cable is the discrete code for Cable.

My input list goes up to AUX 12, I don't see the others on there anywhere. There are something like 17 logical inputs, they are not all in the file. The point of the discrete codes is so that I can use the macro function on my universal remote to turn on input 10, say, which is my laserdisc player, without cycling through all of the active inputs. This may correspond to Audio: analog 3, and video: component 2.
