Thanks for the link to the article. Been doing this for years when I purchased my first set of Martin Logans using a B&W center channel. Now I have a set of Magnepans using an Eminent Technology center. I am glad to see that I am not the only one that felt this way about mixing speakers for my HT system.

I use a paradigm center channel and b&w fronts....pretty seamless stage from what i can hear
