I remember reading that Lonnie specified the pure analog path in the USP is superior to the proposed XMC analog inputs.
However, in order to use the USP in a home theater setup, the HT bypass mode would have to be engaged.
My question is that since the stereo analog outputs have to be connected from the UMC to the USP then to the amplifier, wouldn't that introduce more noise to the signal path, therefore making it of poorer quality than the direct analog pass-through from the XMC?
