Hey all,
I've about given up trying to figure out what was going on, so I figured I would ask for some advice.
I've been experiencing some issues with my MCC-1 recently. There are two noticible effects that have been occuring.
The first is during some commercials the sound goes out on them. I have verizon fios. I've only noticed it on commercials. I called in for advice (can't remember who I was talking to but we were talking about not getting hit by cars in downtown Philly if you happen to read this). One of the suggestions was to bypass the splitter (which had no effect) for source into the cablebox.
The second is that I've added a turntable to the system and I get no sound when set to stereo and only get sound when set to one of the other modes. I've tried various source inputs and have received the same effect. Even when I do get sound it comes from the right and center channel only.
I have a feeling this might be due to some setting on the MMC-1 but have no idea which one. Either that or it gave up the ghost.
I'm on a waiting list for a UMC-1 upgrade so hopefully it goes away there, but I'd rather find out what was happening with this MMC-1.
Hope you all are well...
Leo

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Well I'll call support again tomorrow. I"ll post what I find out (incase anyone else runs into this - plus it was a pretty entertaining call - it's nice to call a support line , get someone that speaks english first, and actually knows the product unheard of...)
