Blue Screen on Component

Hello, everyone.

My apologies if this has been reported before, but my search for "blue screen" didn't come up with any results.

I'm having an issue with my Tivo Series 3 occasionally switching to a blue screen. It doesn't appear to follow a schedule in doing so, but it happens every 5-10 minutes for anywhere from 5-30 seconds. Audio (toslink) keeps playing while the video drops.

The Tivo is connected via component to the UMC-1, and the UMC-1 is connected to my Samsung plasma via HDMI.

I'm waiting on a HDMI cable delivery, so this is only a temporary cable run, but I thought I would report it in case it's a bug.

Quick update on this. Received my HDMI cables today, and haven't had a dropout since.

Thought I'd pass it along....

That is our old buddy macrovision at work.
Emotiva just bought a new license and it will make this type of connection work more reliably in a future update.

Don't you just love Hollywood?
