Hi - I am continuing to have a problem with my UMC-1 saving my video output settings after the UMC-1 being turned off and back on again.
I am using component output and ideally would like to use pass-thru. I have a mix of input sources including component and non-HDCP HDMI. Whenever I set the video resolution on the UMC-1 to anything other than 480p, and subsequently turn off and back on the UMC-1, the video resolution setting is always reset back to 480p. This did not happen on the original firmware (although it had other problems).
Is anyone else having this same problem and/or is this working for anyone using component output? I know that us analog video guys are on the way out, but we've got to get this thing working. I've tried to get a hold of the tech support folks at Emotiva and left a message two days ago, but have not yet heard back (I'm sure they are busy).
I've tried resetting the UMC-1 to factory settings as well as re-applying the firmware and resetting the settings. None of these things have helped in my instance.
Is this a known issues? Any ideas on how to fix other than to replace the unit or wait for another firmware release?
