Hi guys do we know the UMC-1's bass management routing? Like this or are there any differences (except for the additional surround channels): Thanks, Markus

Did some measurements (firmware 6) that led me to "believe" that the UMC's bass management looks like this: The controls labeled "SubWoofer" (why is the W uppercase?) or "Sub" should be labeled "LFE"? Can anybody confirm this? Best, Markus

Hum, this would leave one to believe that the 7.1 inputs are not straight analog pass through (with just gain) like previous (and most other) prepros.

Hum, this would leave one to believe that the 7.1 inputs are not straight analog pass through (with just gain) like previous (and most other) prepros. This is just a functional diagram and does not show the actual inputs on the rear of the UMC-1. Those analog 7.1 inputs are not routed through the bass manager. From the manual: "Note: This is designed to be a very short, ultra pure, analog‐only signal path. DSP‐based effects such as tone controls, bass management and DSP surround are bypassed in order to maintain the highest fidelity. This input is not available in Zone 2. The only tonal adjustment for this is LFE level." Best, Markus

Ok, you are just trying to show the digital path not the analog one. In that case your diagram is a logical conclusion.
