I was running around for awhile - I'm in photo #97 in the carparts ball cap.
The thing that I found most amazing was that with about 6 zillion kids running around ALL of them were well behaved. I didn't see any crying - whining - temper fits - just kids being quiet and enjoying the show. Lot's of credit there to good parent's - but I have suspicions that Emo had ultrasonic subliminal mind control going on or some type of device capable of behavior modification. If this is achievable Emo could really make a killing by including it with the gear they are selling!!!!!!!

Nice pics! But what are those in the pics that looks like a warehouse with lots of boxes? You mean Emotiva sells stuff? Do they sell UPA-2s? Ahh, so many boxes in Franklin, TN but so few empty $pace$ here in my home.

Lot's of smiling wives in these photos! These must have all been taken BEFORE the husbands asked for permission to use the credit card to buy more gear. LOL

Great pics. Obviously everyone had a great time......
What a deal. Hmmm, still wonder who everyone was though. Since I didn't know, I just started assigning screen names to the pics.
Had lots of fun doing that........ ;D ;D

Captions would be nice so we can put names with those faces... That is exactly what I politely requested before.

Captions would be nice so we can put names with those faces... Good point. How will I know who I am?...come to think of it, I didn't go. Never mind. That's easy in your case Jim; your face is showing up at "Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity" own's website. * By the way Jim, few people over there are rather somehow quite stubborn, and they are quite jumpy on some people's revelatory comments. ...I had few comments of my own not posted by the Administration! ...I will have to make a decision sometime sooner than later about that. ;D

Hey Chuck, if you really want a phono preamp and want it to fit into a specific size and shape, send me the size specs and I'll build you a custom one that fits where you need it to fit... David, thanks for the great offer! I'll sure keep that in mind. I need to start over and think about this for awhile. Of course, I was presuming the XMC-1 would have the phono preamp like we all thought it would until this latest information. I simply thought it would best for my purposes in the XMC-1. I have a tall Bello metal/wood/glass component stand that fits neatly in the recessed right front corner of my room. I was hoping to get all components on this stand as I have no other practical room for components. Regular full 17" width units work and look best and can be multiple stacked on the 5-6 glass shelves as long as they're not too heavy or hot (obviously my XPA-5 goes on the bottom). I might consider the XSP-1, but that is not for sure at this time. I know there are many small phono preamps (that I could stack on top of another component or place sideways or in the rear) but prefer another Emo designed component (my wife and I absolutely love the Emo aesthetics). A RU-1 Emo Phono preamp would be perfect. I plan on sending Lonnie a subliminal tape for his office background listening. My quiet posts asking that they keep the phono preamp in the XMC-1 didn't work. ;D
