I know the fine crew at Emotiva recommended a few hotels, but I found a pretty good deal at an ALOFT hotel very close to the Marriott's and next door to the Cool Springs Galleria. Where's everyone staying? Is the Courtyard by Marriott with the Emotiva group rate the hotel of choice? roadrunner and I will be staying at the Courtyard by Marriot. That was the place where Emotiva has Fmofest group rates available. If they (Emotiva) have a shuttle to the fest site I would assume that they would run it from Courtyard by Marriot. I really like the Hyatt last year but in my search the Marriot was cheaper and i think a little closer to Emotiva. Looks like a pretty nice hotel as well.

I think there was confusion around it as reservations told me it was booked up, but when I talked to the people that handle the group rates, they had discounted rooms. |
