I am wondering if the UMC or to be XMC has auto lip-sync?
This can be very important when running different frame creation and game modes. Not having to adjust lip-sync every time you change modes would be a big plus.

according to Lonnie and Dann L's 1st video, leaving it at 0 is auto. But I still find myself tinkering with it to get it just right

Hi Guy's, The UMC-1 does auto sync in the 0-ms. mode. I will note however, that quite a few sources do not have reliable or consistent lip-sync delay times. The EDID data for the source tells the UMC-1 what it required delay is. Sometimes this is not perfect. On non HDMI sources you 'll probably need to tweak a little bit manually. Cable boxes in particular tend to wander and then all of a sudden they are correct. Usually just about the time you get annoyed and try to fix it! Also if you cable box is out of whack on HDMI, power it of and back on and this will usually fix it. This is a VERY common issue with them and has nothing to do with the UMC-1. Cheers, Dan
