Just got my UMC-1 today ;D I am using the unit for now with only 2.1 channel listening. No center or surrounds. I have completed assigning the inputs to my source devices (CD and DVD players). However, for the 7.1 channel outputs, I don't see a part on the menu to turn off the center and surrounds. So as far as I know, the UMC will assume that I have a center and surrounds when I don't. I was able to turn them off in the LMC-1, but don't know how to do this on the UMC-1. Thanks for the input!
