Received my replaced UMC-1 yesteday (original had weak HDMI signal that was interesting but useless).
Replacement Video works well. Audio is very good - will start calibrating with REW tomorrow).
Audio switching is slow, but tolerable and my WDTV does not sync HDMI easily (that's always been a problem for me with the WDTV so I just have to be careful with switch on sequence and delays)
Emo-Q had a few issues - my room is a strange shape and it mis-recognised my Right side as right rear and wants to let my mains run down to 20Hz (Thors that are ok to 38Hz but I have a room resonance that gives a peak at 20Hz).
Will calibrate things the way I like them tomorrow (probably cross over the sub at 70-100 Hz to blend the 5.1 and have the sub at 50Hz down for stereo use) - will report on the sound after I am done.
Only issue so far is the trigger outputs - one seems to work inverted and another does not seem to work - probably my finger trouble and I am sure it will work out well.
Too early to try the Harmony that i set up with all the codes (I get easily confused so I am using 5 remotes for now).
More when I have something useful to say.

Have you tried to set the WDTV to forced HDMI 60hz instead of HDMI Auto?

I just received my UMC-1 as well and I have had it up and running for 24 hours and I have watched two Blu Ray movies and my wife has been watching cables TV in a combination of HD channels and standard and it has been flawless. We use a BH200 LG HDDVD/Blu Ray combo player and the Scientific Atlanta 8300HDC cable box and so far not so much as a hiccup. My wife loves this thing, its small, easy to program and so far sounds great. I have owned and still own several high end processors and this one I imagine is going to be as good and even better than a few of those. To early to give a full report but I will this weekend. I love this thing!!! I know the remote is cheap, but its real wife friendly. She has an LMC-1 in her gym and loves it. Listen, I owned and sold a Cary Audio Cinema 11a and if you think the UMC-1 one has bugs you should try that $3000.00 dollar unit which is also made in china. To be honest, watching movies on the UMC-1 so far sounds just as nice as the Cary 11a. I have not had a chance to do any real music listening but I will. I assure you, this is a real bargain and a super sweet pre/pro.

Your channel levels are being saved (not just the numbers on the screen) 3. What did EMO-Q do for you??

Hey.... I went to Audioreview.com and there is only ONE solitary UMC-1 review. What is with that? Certainly some more new owners can go to that site and give a review. It's good advertising for Emotiva to have positive reviews on independent sites. Just a thought.
