jackfish There's comb filtering if that's what you're wondering. Axiom acknowledges that. But in terms of audibility it doesn't stick out (at least for me). They did an article. www.axiomaudio.com/blog/comb-filtering-%E2%80%93-popular-misconceptions/Now obviously they claim it doesn't matter and obviously they make speakers that have comb filtering. But if you are in the center the effect isn't there in a noticeable way for me at least. Now I did notice problems if you move out of the sweet spot but if you are not in the sweet spot, then I don't see the point of being critical about it. And it may not help its fussiness with placement. BUt it is what it is. I heard they fart to much !

I agree with Garbulky - I had Axiom M-80s for the past year or two, and in my room, there was no audible comb filtering. You could move vertically with surprisingly little change in tone. That said, I'm taller than most, and the M80 tweeters were slightly below my ear level. The treble was also one of the weakest parts of the M80 performance envelope (unless driven by the Yaqin hybrid integrated amp that made the Axiom's tweeters wake up & sing). Global warming? Blame the Mono Block Society - their inefficient, power-hungry amplifiers burn enough power to keep several power plants on line! Death to the running dog lackeys of the bourgeoisie !

Now class D mono blocks would be Earth-Friendly! Since you'd need two, they'd be Double-Ds...

I appreciate that. I used to have double stacked New Advents (tweeter to tweeter) powered by two Phase Linear 400 amplifiers. There were definite comb filter effects with those, but since I was usually the only one listening I found the sweet spot so it mattered not. Kinda wish I still had that vintage set up.
