Thanks garbulkyI do love the clarity of the 'digms tweeters for sure! For a slightly different mood I also love the way my tube system rolls them just a bit! Thanks garbulky come on by anytime and get a refreshed experience with them and the Rega.

Thanks garbulky come on by anytime and get a refreshed experience with them and the Rega. It and the LSA-1 signature tweeter had the highest resolution I've heard. They were incredibly fast producing a soundstage that took it to another level. Basically it felt like a very cohesive sound field. The only critic is that the tone is just a tad shy/bright from being natural but I cannot deny the speed and resolution.

I've always enjoyed the tweets on those Studio V5s. That and their mid range smoothness is tough to beat. I miss their sound from time to time but my buddy down the street, lehighvalleyjeff has them in his rig. Scott The old rig

Jeez man stay safe and take cover if the weather gets outta control, just take cover under the XPR-1's So I see you have a Music Hall MMF2.2, I have a new in box one coming to me and I was thinking of pairing it to my phono pre and then to the Little Dot MK2 headphone amp I just acquired and I'm hoping to have a nice little 2ch headphone rig out of it, I know your RP6 is quite a bit more up there above the MMF 2.2 but how do you like the MMF 2.2 in your setup. Chad The MMF 2.2 is a fine TT, I have it in a second system and don't utilize it enough. Ive enjoyed it on a few occasions and it sounds good, not the caliber of my Rega by any stretch but a good entry level TT. Upgrading the cartridge would benefit Im sure but I really haven't the time for it anymore. Set it up properly and invest in a decent cartridge and it'll be a treat to listen to at a very good price point. Wish I didn't need the funds or I'd definitely keep it.

And the worst of that same storm shows up down here after midnight. The Governor came on TV & asked everyone to keep a charged cell phone with weather warnings active near their beds tonight. That way, if a tornado warning occurs, you'll get a wake-up alarm & know to shelter in the interior rooms / hallways (there's no such thing as basements down here - the water table's too high). Ain't technology grand? And we've also got a "decoy trailer park" at the edge of town (it's called "Denham Springs"). That should keep the tornados away! But not to be too flippant about it - one tornado in the state has already cost two lives. I do believe in being prepared, but as I get older, I'm becoming more of a fatalist. When it's your time, it's your time. I just hope when it's my time, I go quickly and with minimum pain. But we don't even get to choose that... So it is what it is. Best of luck to you & yours, novisnick. .

Thanks, teaman - The weather did pass us by. All safe & sound, thanks. But this system is probably going to b a rip-snorter once it reaches the East coast. More Nor-Easters for my daughter & family in Boston... But after all, it's Spring. Now & Fall are when we expect to have active weather. Living on this continent makes such things unavoidable. Were I to ever build a house, however, I'd certainly look into "high-wind resistance." I understand that the State of Florida is a pioneer in this with building codes that require roof-joist clips, among other things. I wish all building codes required such things. If nothing else, you'd probably make up the expense in lower insurance rates.

That one was 50 mph and don't ask me how I know. There is one more small one but it has a little spin. You can tell by reading the Doppler. I know how. Lightning ! Power off !
