Any chance of adding a 30Hz speaker crossover option for larger, more "capable" LCR speakers? What crossover frequency are you running at now? I have a related setup. DIYSG Titan 615LX for LCR, and front SI HS-24 mk II x 2 in DIYSG 10 cu. ft. cabinets. My RMC-1L LCR crossovers are set for 50hz and 24 db/oct. Woofer excursion in the Titan 615LX is acceptable with a 50hz crossover. I'd like to try setting the crossovers a bit higher, for lower Titan 615LX woofer excursion and possibly lower distortion. Still, at 50hz - Virtually no intelligible HF in the subs; No loss of stereo bass; Very good integration; Great dynamics; Very low distortion. Sound is excellent for movies, or music - 2 ch. and multi-channel, at any volume from quiet to as loud as I or my home can tolerate. Bass improved with balanced Center Sub out from the RMC-1L, to the QSC PLD 4.5 in dual parallel mode driving the SI subs. I was using an unbalanced out to the PLD 4.5 for the same SI subs in my previous setup. I knew it could be better, but was surprised at the improvement. Happy bass.

Can you save firmware updates and system settings to the same usb drive for the RMC1? yes. Just make sure that only the most recent firmware is in the root directory.

I've also updated the RMC-1 Firmware "Section" with this update of Firmware v1.7.

Can you save firmware updates and system settings to the same usb drive for the RMC1? While it may be possible to do so, I've always saved the "System Settings" internally and only use the USB stick for the firmware file.

Firmware 1.7 is available Change list seems uninspiring I would agree it seems somewhat uninspiring via the change list for the RMC but there are likely little things in the background maybe not worth mentioning. The update went smooth for me using the firmware advisement. I did notice the locking in between music tracks was better than before probably on par with the XMC-1 before I traded up.

Firmware 1.7 is available Change list seems uninspiring I have to wonder what DTS MA lock updated means exactly. Updated or fixed? A difference? Dunno.

How do you go with the vertex out of the equation [considering the RMC1 is supposed to ignore the lowest common denominator edid - if it does?]. You've isolated the projector in any case I see to take that out of consideration .. Extra hdmi components in the chain can increase dropouts so worth a try ?

My setup isn't live yet, almost there, just prepping for initial setup. You're right, very similar setups. My LCR's are DIYSG dual woofer Titans tuned to 25Hz run by an Emo DR3.

I've also tried using a Panasonic DP-UB820 instead of the Oppo UDP-203 without any problems as well. I'll also say I've now tried several DTS-HD MA 5.1 tracks including the "Dark Knight" 4K UHD Blurays and I can say the DTS locking problem is now fixed in my setup. So far firmware v1.7 is a winner for me and I'll keep on hammering away on it to see if I can dredge up any bugs. I do not have any HDFury products in my HDMI chain. My cables are the Monoprice DynamicView Ultra 8K High Speed HDMI Cables, and I've now also tried the Emotiva Z-HDMI cables without incident. I'm using 1 & 2 meter lengths of both Monoprice DynamicView and Emotiva Z-HDMI cables.

Can any of you guys try to play mad max fury road with 1.7? Everything works great now with 1.7, unless i try to play fury road. The rmc starts to do really strange things like locking up and no sound, the wait please, stays on forever and i cant't turn off the unit unless i press the button for 5 seconds. When i can get the info screen to show, it says pcm 5.1, not atmos which it is and no sound. I never had an issue playing that disc with any other firmware before, so this is really strange. It's a shame because it's one of my favorite movie's to play on the rmc.

Just about to eventually set-up my RMC-1. Quick question. Do the firmware upgrades “roll-over” all previous upgrades or should they be carried out in sequence, dependant on what it has shipped with.
