Please, no more name calling. Jerk*ffs, a**holes, etc., there is no place for these personal attacks. These type of posts will simply be deleted in the future. Fair warning. If you got up on the wrong side of the bed please wait until you feel in a more friendly mood before you decide to come here and take it out on others. Thanks I didn't call anyone an a*hole I was the one called an a*hole. And I feel it just to call those two jerks when he calls me an a*hole and poo poos my posts whilst offering nothing constructive. Just a simple "mine just works" you suck hint hint insinuation. chuckie you have the wrong idea here as to who's the jerk man... the others are editing their posts and removing the rude comments made directly at me. I'm just critiquing a company not a person for god's sake. Apple fans it's a computer!!! Not an extension of your persona! Also my comments are of much greater help and directly related to the mac mini HDMI issues. Theirs are simple "mine works fine" you suck hint in insinuation etc. and my comments are of no help... Huh we must be on different planets or something because my observations are the complete opposite chuckie. Why don't you guys try to help with the mac mini issues? I didn't start this train of thought here... my only sin is slagging apple... and no wonder... it doesn't work properly does it people! buy hey It can't possible be apple it's gotta be everything/everybody else less apple. It's the TV's fault... it's the AVR's fault... it's EMOTIVA'S FAULT... I offered advice that's decent IMHO regarding the EMI/EMC flashing and installing from fresh ISO. What did those two offer? other than starting a fight huh! and I'm not justified calling them jerks ehh chuckie? We are clearly operating on different perceptions/wavelengths. I really am not a fan in internet forum nepotism. What help are any of you offering this guy? WHAT EVER.... I'm Audi 5000 |

OK Solidsate. I carefully read the entire thread. I did not say that you used the word a**hole. I saw that someone else used it and you commented on that. I am a new moderator here and trying to be light handed and give polite fair warning when one or more posters get personal or overly negative with their posts.
This thread was positive until your posts which seemed to be on the unnecessarily negative and overly critical side. Yes, I know that others then responded to your posts with negative remarks. I thus posted a friendly warning and a plea for no name calling. Until this post I never mentioned you or any others by name. I have already received comments in one or more PM's form members who read this thread and were concerned by the negative atmosphere. Please don't get into a pissing contest with another member. Just drop one of the moderators a PM and we will do what we can to restore a friendly atmosphere here.
Emotvia wants this forum to be a friendly, civil and fun experience for all. We don't want the confrontational, in your face atmosphere that seems to exist at some other online audio/HT forums. Expressing ones opinions on either side of an issue are welcome as long as they are expressed in a positive manner.
Pleas take a break from this thread. If you post anymore on this thread I will delete all your posts in this thread and/or lock the thread. I would rather not lock the thread if others wish to continue to discuss this issue.
