So this upcoming UMC firmware update is the final update? Is that a hopeful statement? Like a goal or something? Or have they just decided to throw in the towel regardless of what the outcome is for this update? I guess it'll make it much easier of a decision for people who aren't sure whether to keep their UMC-1. If you still experience unlivable bugs after this update then you should send it back, since this is your final fix. I doubt its the final update, but it should be the last major one for atleast awhile.............. Well I hope this is the cure-all.. I'll be repurchasing one if it is! ;D

i trully hope this one does fix the known bugs in existence. however, i also hope that emo staff are little more respectful this go-round with their customers who may still have issues. (ie: blaming end-user or end-user's room for the issues with the umc.) this is all a learning experience for everyone, but i truly hope the most gained, from a tech support standpoint, is from those who work at emo.

The only bugs that "bug" me are the sub xover/eq not working, the "lock ups", and the HDMI switcher that defaults the video out to 480p alot along with the audio drop outs associated with it, oh yeah and the glitching display. If those are all fixed, then I am a happy camper. THey should be taken care of.
