Data In before the closing bell . ;D Initially I'll try it using its own volume control . XLR out to a pair of XPA-2 bridged monos . Then for comparison and fun's sake , with an RSP-1 or Dodd battery preamp in the mix. Should be fun , especially when you consider the price of admission .  |

Last webcast mentioned that Emotiva would start contacting people who preordered the XDA-1 about now, in order to finalize order and shipping details. Wondered if anyone have been contacted yet?  |

Pre-ordered Oct 12th (via web), e-mail received yesterday to call with CC info for approximate Nov 24th ship date.

About a week ago Emotiva started sending the E-Mails to contact buyers to arrange for payment so they can ship the XDA-1s as soon as they come in. They will continue sending batches of notification to all those who signed up on the pre-order list. The entire first shipment of XDA-1s are already spoken for. If you were on the list and have not yet received your e-mail it should be arriving within the next week.
If you haven't received notification by the 18th I would call Sarah at Emotiva and ensure you are among the lucky ones to get one of the first shipment units. Have your credit card info handy when you call. ;D

Just received the shipping email on the new incoming and called in my credit info. Should receive the tracking Thanksgiving week with an expected delivery of approximately December 1st.
Will post on first impressions when I get it and I will be giving it a run through a slew of setups.

I've been catching up with the last 3 weeks of postings as I've been away caring for a family member after a complicated surgery. Anyhow, I've used a new forum tool by moving posts from other threads that are similar and combined them. If you have an XDA-1 posting about receiving e-mails for payment information and shipping times please post here. Thanks for your cooperation. |

Yes, here is my situation:
I pre-ordered the day of the EMO official announcement of which was October 11, 2010 @ approx. 5:49 PM of which after I received an EMO confirmation via e-mail @ 6:29 PM, the same day.
Today, I received an e-mail at approx 3:09 PM seeking CC info authorizing payment upon the day of shipment.
Made a phone call three minutes later to Emo and spoke with Janna to initiate transaction with CC info..
Looking forward to the day of delivery!
