I have started a comparison chart for the Emotiva line of speakers. It is marginal at best right now, but I will update as the Emotiva crew publishes more details on the forum and in the manuals. It can be found here: Speaker Comparison Chart

How about the dimensions of the 6.5" lcr's? I have 9.5" vertical clearance in my Boltz stand for the center channel. If it doesn't fit I might as well quit dreaming.

I don't think I have seen the official measurements from Emotiva yet. I do recall one thread where this might have been mentioned by Dann, but can't think of which one...if anyone sees this, please link me to it and I will update the chart.

Perhaps if the 6.5" center doesn't fit the 3 way center will.

Going by the website and the recent Emotiva Webcast, it seems as though the prices for the ERM-1 and ERD-1 have officially been lowered to $229/each for the ERM-1 and $299/pair for the ERD-1. Perhaps the chart could be updated to reflect this?
And is there really going to be a new 6.5" bi/di-pole surround speaker introduced? I'd certainly LOVE for there to be! But I don't see any mention of it on the website nor was it mentioned in the webcast. I do hope for a new 6.5" ERD surround though!

I think I recall that they had created a prototype, but sonically it was not overall much better than the current model to justify releasing a 6.5 ERD set under the current design.

I will adding a lot more to this page soon, but here is a photo of the speakers taken side by side...and I added an XPA-5 for size comparison. The measurements are listed. emotiva.com/speakers_feature.shtm

The price on the ERM 6.2 is $299 each. This is a correction to my posting of $349 over the weekend. Apologies.

The bottom of the NEWS page indicated that the ERM-6.3 would be selling for $499 and the product page shows it is going to be $599. Is this a typo or did material costs increase that much in such a short time?

Yeah I'm thinking Doug has been very busy lately. Maybe some one with some extra time could put together a new one?

Sorry...and yes, everytime I start to get caught up I get other things coming up. I did get a chance to update the comparison sheet tonight. It is not complete the way I want yet as I still need to add the powered sub(s) and more information, but at least the information on there is now up to date. I will try to finish it off over the next week or so.
