A bit pricey for what I usually sip, but I really like this. Be careful, there is great variability in the offerings from this company, some are only aged 2 years. Look for the 111 on the top of the label. Trey

I'm tempted to put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the glass... decisions... decisions... I tried a different brand Double Chocolate (24oz?) for s&g and really like it, but it kicked my butt- one bottle. Young's Double Chocolate maybe? I luv trying micro brewers. I drink mostly ale (over beer) and tried Celis Grand Cru it's a very strong wheat Ale. Warned a friend about drinking more than 3, 'you could pass out' and he did- face first onto the bar. Kicks like a mule, now he's a believer. Guess who drove the SL500 home. We have a nice beer bar called Gingerman's that has 200 on tap, seen Lancaster there.

Young's Double Chocolate is one of my favorites... *bleep* Brew is another, but it comes in a 750ml bottle and at 9.0 AVB, I can barely finish the bottle alone. lol Wasn't a fan of the Cru I tried, but I've heard similar accounts of folks that had one too many.... similar experience with a meade, my buddy didn't feel it until he tried to stand up, then he sat back down and had another. lol

Just got this for the weekend. German Made. If the reviews are anything to go by, I'm in for a good time! LinkProduct Description:Handcrafted with 47 botanicals in Germany's Black Forest, cult-favorite Monkey 47 has quickly become one of the world's most sought-after gins. Rich and profound, this gin packs a complex blend of flavors to delight the world's most sophisticated connoisseur.

Yes, indeed. I always start off my new beverage experience with it lightly chilled and neat. Personally I'm rather drawn to Hendricks or Bombay Gin. But I am intrigued by the Distiller's Cut.

If you like Tequila, try it with Tonic water & a slice. Good summertime party drink. I was a big tequila drinker for years & got my Bro-in-law (bourbon drinker) drinking it. Went over their and he fixed us up a drink, first impression "What the heck is this... not bad." 20+ yrs ago & still drink them.
