I've heard of that too! ...Not in the USA, not in Canada; not in North America! Well, ...not in this continent! Crutchfield has it now, as do other several others online.

Rather than start a new thread with a similar question I'll post here.
I want Audyssey XT32 as well as the ability to adjust my audio setting on the fly (like on the Denon 33xx and 43xx series). I will have 2 sub amps and an XPA 5 driving my LCR and surrounds. I was thinking of getting a Denon 4311 but is there a specific Denon pre/pro that would be a better choice? I certainly don't need the amp/power of a receiver.

^Unfortunately not. The 4311 is an excellent choice and you will just pay more for a comparable pre-pro. Just think of the amps in there as insurance. If you ever have a problem with one of your amps and it is out of service for a short period the AVR can stand in to power. I currently have a Denon 3311 as a pre-pro and have used the amps to power my surrounds from time to time.
