There is a sign above them that says "Skunkworks". They are the top model. Dan said they will be amazing. I do not know what "Skunkworks" is or what it means though

I do not know what "Skunkworks" is or what it means though I'm pretty sure that they were a prototype of the lowest model of the upcoming monitor line, above the Airmotiv. The low of the upper. Hope that made sense.

Thats an 8" driver. Am I correct? Well, the specs over at Emo Pro show the Airmotiv 6 has a 6.5" woofer. It looks to be at least 8" in comparison.

The Skunkworks was the secret development and manufacturing group at Lockheed run by Kelly Johnson. He and his team were responsible for the U-2, SR-71 and a lot of other high-tech, high-performance, super secret aircraft. These days the term is used to refer to anything technical with a high "wow" factor and shrouded in secrecy.

Congrats to the Emotiva team for what sounds like another successful EmoFest! Next year I will try to make it down, and hopefully pick up my Dad on the way in STL. Anyone reading these posts and hasn't gone, really should try to make the effort next year. I certainly will.
