There is a sign above them that says "Skunkworks". They are the top model. Dan said they will be amazing. I do not know what "Skunkworks" is or what it means though Skunkworks is a term we used in Information Technology for Experimentation, idea creation and some of it can be outlandish but you never know what idea will stick.

Yes, many great products have resulted from experimentation and rapid prototyping.

Hey, guys! Thanks to all who took pictures and video to help those of us not able to attend get in on all the good times and excitement. I am really excited about the new speaker lines, as well as the new gear coming out. I have one big question: Have any of you heard whether the UMC-2 or the XMC-1 will apply crossover settings before the EQ? I am slowly planning out my home theater upgrade and because Emotiva is awesome I'd been planning on going all Emotiva from speaker to sub to amp to processor. I was thrilled about the arrival of the UMC-1, but although the launch hiccups and firmware complaints were no big deal to me, the EQ-before-XO arrangement was a deal breaker for me. I really want to go with an Emotiva processor! Does anybody know the answer to this question? I've looked everywhere else on the forum but no answer so far.

Jerry I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with you during Emofest. It was a pleasure meeting you face to face after all this time of visiting on the Lounge. I also enjoyed learning about your family while viewing the photographs your brought with you. I admired your woodworking skills after seeing what an incredible job you did with your speaker enclosures and your equipment rack. I wish I had your skills. I hope to see you again at next year's Emofest. I stopped off and visited with relatives on my way back home from Emofest and have only been home for a few days now. While visiting with my relatives it reminded me of the warmth I saw in the photos of your family. The pride you felt in your family was obvious by the glow on your face while sharing them with me. You are without a doubt one very proud papa! Thanks you for sharing with me.

I really want to go with an Emotiva processor! Does anybody know the answer to this question? I've looked everywhere else on the forum but no answer so far. At this point, I don't think anyone outside of Big Dan and Lonnie know the answer to this question. If the way EQ is handled in bass management is a deal breaker to you, I suggest that you E-mail either Dan or Lonnie and pose your concerns directly to them. I recommend E-mail simply because neither of them closely monitor questions asked on the Lounge and they have both said a phone call or an E-mail is the best way of ensuring that you will be able to get your message to them. Sending a PM to either of them is likely to go unread. You will find that both are very happy to discuss Emotiva's products with you. I have spoken with both of them at length before I purchased my first piece of Emotiva gear and have continued doing so ever since. They have always been very receptive and generous with their time when I have called and promptly answered my questions when I sent E-mails to them. Emotiva's personnel are open and receptive whenever I have contacted them.

I am sorry I cannot attend, I have a DATE with my emotiva ERC-2, she and her girlfriend XPA-5 will be joining me for dinner with my friend ESS HEIL 1D. I also have a guest that will be providing the dessert, mr USP-1. I was going to invide mr UMC-1 but he's retiring and I'll just wait for XMC-1 who's going to replace him in our next dinner party. I was hoping the ERM and ERC families will come visit us sometime! You know with emotiva, the party is always LIVE!
