I wouldn't worry to much if I was you as you could move a lot of those other brands out of the rack to make room for more Emotiva products.

that has to sound sweet.............. I've been thinking of building a pair of MTMs using e Dayton reference woofers myself. How do these compare to commercially built high end speakers? i have used the dayton reference 10" in smaller enclosures when building satellite/sub combos for my kids. it is a great little woofer and i assume the 12" will be even better. as to a comparison with commercially built subs i cannot say. the last sub that i owned that was made by another speaker company came with the emim/emit satellites made by infinity ( the RS 1's) and i sold those back in 1987. since then i have been doing diy speakers exclusively. it is much more fun and less costly. i have included a picture of those i found online just for memories sake Attachments:

How did they sound?!? I know somebody that has them. yep, i had them with a krell ksa50 for the bass towers and an audio research d90b for the mid/tweeter panels and spectral preamp. great overall sound and balance yet a lot has been learned over the years in speaker design to improve xover networks and overall wave launch coherency. my statements with subs are better and far more seamless in their presentation. imaging and 3dimensionality in stereo is far more precise and accurate. i had to sell all that high end stuff as the family grew and i returned to school to finish a doctoral program. speaker building was a low cost way to stay in the hobby. my discovery of emotiva 6 years ago enabled me to improve the electronics i was using. Relatively modest, but it's taken me quite a bit of time to get here! That's a neat looking piece of furniture you're using. Can the back piece come off and flip over so the cable openings are behind the equipment you have in it? That would essentially hide most of your cabling and look stellar!

That would essentially hide most of your cabling and look stellar! Ah that would be great! But no, this furniture came with the school apartment and I don't think they had lots of equipment cables in mind when picking them out. If it was me, I would've put the cable openings near the bottom out of sight, or like you said, let it be covered.

Yes, there is a switch on the back of the XPA 1 that allows you to select the led's for left or right. I have mine set up for one left and one right speaker. This way if I ever need to know which amp is driving my Left or right speaker, I only need to look at the front instead of pulling the whole rack out.

Plus I live in a 900 SF condo so no other place to really put that thing.
