There are some really great home theater setups I see here that really got me drooling! Definitely something to aspire to one day, but for now, I guess I'll have to make do with my own modest HT system. I don't have a dedicated room for music appreciation or Home Theater in my house, so unfortunately, my living room gets picked to be that space. To conform to certain aesthetical standards of what I think a living room should look like, I hid most of my A/V equipment from view (or at least tried to!). My interest is also skewed towards high-end audio than HT, which might explain my choices of equipment. Is that a Salamander Designs cabinet? Magneplanar 3.7i’s ?

It looks a lot like the Salamander Designs cabinet that I bought last year, except yours has doors, that I opted out of at the time. If yours is, then I'm possibly contemplating doors for mine. I'll get that information to you tonight. I still have the assembly instructions for it. The doors are perforated heavy-gauge metal so an IR remote will work even with them closed. It's a Studio Tech brand, model U-22T. Here is the link. www.studiotech.com/ultra-detail-1.html

Anyone else getting "Error: This forum has exceeded its attachment space limit. Your file cannot be uploaded" Looks like someone needs to insert another quarter in the lounge machine!

This thread takes up most of the current space available.
I think we are going to delete this one and start a Version 2.0 Thread of what does your room look like with your emo gear?

Nick, I for one wouldn't mind being forced to downsize more than I generally do. I get lazy sometimes and don't always squeeze the images down, but most of the time I limit the larger dimension to 2000 pixels and lower the quality such that the images are usually below 600Kb. I'm also looking into off-site image hosting. I've mentioned this before, so I'll say it here again, I'm not averse to paying a annual support fee to help with storage.

There are good free sites you can use to host images so you can post them, postimages.org/ is a good one to use.

Since the reel to reel is remote controlled I moved it to a more sensible place. My analog with cassette. My Tascam DR-100 mk.3 do the music digitally if not my TV.BAS-X 2 channel for mids and highs and my crowns bridged for the bottom. The Denon drives all else.

Adjustment on the Reel to Reel and the Mclaren model finds a new home on top of my Sub.

Howdy all, new here, working on my home theater setup and thought I would pop in some pics. Just about finished, waiting on my RMC-1 that was sent back for a crooked LCD display, they are sending me a new unit. And while they are at it I sent in the brand new XLR and Phono expansion ports I just received so those will get installed at the factory instead! Still have a ton of work to do: - Get some silent cabinet fans for the rack, the stock mofo's are super loud!
- Tidy up the right side wiring.
- Pick out a console under the TV for the video games, etc..
- Install the record player, gonna move my Fluance RT85 from my office down here, and maybe put a different unit in my office later.
- need to get those 4u rack rail kits in stock! I need to get the XPA-5 and RMC on rails in that cabinet
- Setup the Dirac
- Need to order that BT Adapter as well
- The least favorite thing, setup the Logitech universal remote
- figure out how to get the eARC working from the TV back to the RMC-1 when it gets back to me. (thanks for the tips everyone who responded to my ask stupid question post!)
- Clean up all the dust!

Here is my XMC2. The last of the Mohicans. At one time all my electronics were Emotiva. Still going strong though as it’s a great unit and I can’t wait for the 4GP. My Gothams don’t look as giant in the pictures and when I saw them at the dealer because the salon2 is so tall. Well I can wait lol. Next up is cable management but when you had to move these 360 pound boulders x 2…it takes time to recover.
