I bought them new in 1992 and they are still going strong today.  Although at year 22, I did have to replace all eight of the cone woofers, the surrounds were shot.  The ribbons are hanging tough!

I have to say I am floored on how good the RMC-1L sounds as compared to the old XMC-1 even without Dirac yet, jaw dropping good sound and the move to 7.2.4 was well with it. Had to add three new 15 amp circuits to power everything. The concert at the end of Bohemian Rhapsody sounds like you are right there in the stadium .

The XMC-2 just came in and for a few days I just did a quick install to get it up and running, decided I better take the rack out of the back room and do a full removal of all the gear and wiring and clean it all and then do a nice re-install of everything and do as good of a wiring job as I could do keeping the power wiring away from the audio wiring.
