I have mine on a 15amp circuit. Works just fine even at reference levels. YMMV Really? awesome. where did you get a normal plug for it? Home Depot. I swapped the 15amp outlet on the wall to a 20amp. The actual power cable is the stock Emotiva one. You could also cut the stock power cord and splice in a standard 15amp end. Personally, I didnt want to cut the factory cord so I went with the outlet swap.

From my question under 'reply #24':
"BTW, are you running the XPR-5 off of your Denon AVR's pre-outs?" (And you answered that you are...). "If so, also let us know how that's working out - and any differences you've experianced there too".
'Curious minds want to know' that second part too, because the gain on the XPRs is 29db, instead of the 32db of the XPA series,...so just curious how the XPRs work/differences with AVR preouts...thanks!

Sorry, missed that one. To be honest I can't tell a difference. Really? awesome. where did you get a normal plug for it? This will also work. Yup! That'll work too. Was gonna go that route but for me it was just easier to drive down to Home Depot. )
