I talked to Tom the owner all weekend long, what a nice guy, he was very helpful. Can't wait till it shows up They are located in Ohio, so it should be here by Thursday. More info: www.powersoundaudio.com/products/xs15UPDATE: The Fedex driver said "I got two boxes for ya today, wished they were the same weight". He gave me the XSP-1, then went back to the truck to get the sub. "I need to retire" he said when he placed the sub on the front step ;D

Please keep us updated! I am in the market for a good sub also, for use in a music system. Is this going to be used for home theater or music?

I can relate. Still 2 or 3 more movies than me. I have an old Martin Logan Dynamo sealed enclosure sub. Nice for music when I switch her in.
Please let us know how it integrates. Looks like a great subwoofer.

very cool Matt! I will definitely be waiting for your review. I am absolutely in love with my dual ultra-12's for music. Hope it is everything you want it to be in your new 2.1 setup. Early Birthday purchase? Na, that will be when you order another one

I can barely deal with the one I have! i'm not saying there is anything wrong with having all of those subs either so you guys can put away the pitchforks & torches! ;D I'm just trying to understand this want/need of multiple subs. of course if you love a lot (and with me, more than one sub is a lot) of low end, then yeah, multiple subs is the way to go. i'm also curious, for those living in apartments or condo's with not so good insulation between apartments/buildings how you run all those subs without the Po'Po knocking on your door regularly for complaints.

Matt doesn't even have a sub in his system yet, so i am not sure where you are coming from with the anti-multi sub comments. I was just joking with Matt and I don't think my two 14" cubed subs are that extravagant, but to each his own i guess. It is not about super low end in my system as it is a flatter response that blends better with my fronts for my stereo music listening. I actually gave up low end bass with my Outlaw lfm-ex in order to have smoother response with dual sealed 12's.
my 2 cents.

I have found that with two subs its much easier to get smooth bass response with less correction.

Oh... I just figured out you thought Matt had 5-15" subwoofers, that is not the case. He has a beautiful set of full-range speakers that utilize two 15" woofers per speaker.
