Congrats on your XPA-3. That was my first purchase from Emotiva that started my wallet on the road to ruin. ;D

cool looking stand Davidas.. and great chart thanks can you or someone elaborate a bit on what the componets do? just wanting to learn more for future improvements im tapped out for now.. the speakers cost me an arm and a leg today but i found a dealer will to give big discounts for new stuff to pay for the xpa 3 ..
i hope my xpa 3 choice will be enough power for now.. Paradigm does recommend over powering the speakers to 350 watts but now feeding them more that 230 wpc..
not sure how you know your at 230 watts tho? maybe get the 100s on mono blocks in the future with the some other audio goodies for stereo and movies..
thanks
cheers

^ Thanks deltadube…
To elaborate on what each components do in my set up, think of it like a traffic controller:
The XSP-1 deals with all incoming analog inputs (ERC-2, Turntable, Bluetooth R'cvr, and also analog output from XDA-2 if not going to amps/speakers) and directs them to the amps/speakers.
The XDA-2, same as the XSP-1 but deals with digital inputs (ERC-2, Airplay devices, Macbook Air via USB). In my setup, directs it to XSP-1 via HT bypass.
Of course the ERC-2 CD player is a source which can go either analog or digital.
Sorry, that's what pop up in my head at this time. ;D
Like you, I'm also trying to figure out how much wattage is being use, you can check the thread I started in "Stupid Question Zone." I was kinda surprised on the outcome.

thanks again Davidas.. guess my brains not working yet .. im still confused.. guess i dont know what is digital and whats analog ..
im just playing cds for stereo and dvds or blue rays for movies....
last time i tried to get music from the computer i got a killer virus.. think i will just stick with the disc .. maybe one day try streaming net flicks seems like a pain tho..

i noticed alot of people hear use Oppo.. that is good stuff for cds and dvds.. sometimes when i play blue rays the player sorta stalls out or craps out completely but not with the dvds .. is that the blue disc ( sometimes brand new) or the player?
does that happen with oppo?
cheers.

I haven't had any issues like that with my Oppos (BDP-95 and BDP-105).

Its a consequence of all the bluray java code they put on discs half the time deltadube .Studios change it all the time thats one reason why bluray players get so many firmware upgrades Oppo's support is better than a lot of other companies in this regard They even tell you whats been fixed ;radical compared to some
