Quite a change to forum: a big step back Where is the "new topics" page? And what an ugly picture for those without an avatar. Search was bad in the old forum, now it is not working at all. Slow ... I feel lost with this new layout and functionality.

I found new topics in the dashboard. At least on mobile. Going to try the desktop later today.

So it should be pretty easy to add a button on the menu bar.

So it should be pretty easy to add a button on the menu bar. Give me access to the sources of proboard and I change it for you. It can not be that difficult.

As my native language isn't English, I regret not having the words spell corrector in this new version of lounge Spell corrector works. It'll underline misspelled words in red and offer alternate spellings. Make sure you set the language first (e.g. in Chrome, it is right-click, "Spell-checker options" -> "Language settings").

not a fan of this change in the boards. i liked it before, i could click on a link and it would show me all the new post since i was last on the site. now i have to go into each individual board and filter through and see what is new there.
And where was this most recent link on the board at that you have posted?

Bookmark the link emotivalounge.proboards.com/threads/recent. Thereafter use the bookmark. Or open the link above and then drag the link (using the icon immediately to the left of the URL) onto your toolbar. Thereafter click on the toolbar button. You can also leave the above browser window open and simply refresh it with an F5 whenever you want. HTH..

I have the link on my toolbar from the old version of Proboards and it still works great with the new version.

Most recent and forum selection gone. More PITA search issues ... SIGH It's there. Just in a different spot. What search issues are you talking about? I think it's much improved.

"Recent Threads" link is on the main page, under "Forum Information & Statistics" below the "Threads and Posts" heading.

"Search" now has much more to filter with and is more user-friendly. Suggest people experiment with it to make themselves familiar with the new criteria that can be used to search with.

Search is much better. Still needs major navigation overhaul, expecially a "top" button and a "New Posts" or "New Threads" link on every page.
And I miss the martini glass, but I also miss the Emotiva Knob.

Yesterday I posted how slow everything was...as did others. Speed is MUCH improved today so might have been traffic or some setting on the server side that has been updated.

This has probably already been mentioned, but I think the link to the product page needs to be added back on the forum page. I found that I often went to the product page to look at the particular piece of gear being talked about. It was easy to toggle back and forth between the forum and product page. I think it also helps newcomers that visit the forum to quickly, and conveniently go and take a look at all that Emo is offering.

If the "Stories from around the web" portion on the front page went away, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. There are other things way more useful that can be placed there IMHO.
