us cheap bastards prudent buyers I resemble that remark, I've not paid full price for anything from Emotiva so far. I rationalise it as we (International buyers) have to pay for freight (never less than $US100), cop exchange rate losses and fees, so paying less at the sale or B stock price is our way of offsetting that. Cheers Gary On the topic of us international folk, when Emotiva gives us a shipping quote, do they factor in the hidden cost of domestic shipping? ie: $899 for an XPA-5 with free US shipping, but obviously shipping cost Emotiva money and has been built into their pricing. So let's say it costs on average $50 to ship an XPA-5 to the average buyer within the US. When we as international customers are quoted an extra $100 for shipping on top of the $899 price, is the actual cost to ship $150 or is Emotiva putting that extra $50 in their pocket? Just curious...

I feel ripped off , cause I bought a stealth dac 1 month ago. Now it is 200 dollar cheaper. I tried to contact customer service and from company Ms Caitlyn said 14 day policy....... ( It is not fair. Earning money is not very easy. When I am thinking about buying xpa-2' it is so frustrating Really? So what's your cutoff period? A month? I'd say a 14-day policy seems fair to me. Not too many vendors offer that. I think if they have a 30 day return policy, then 30 days should be the price adjustment. If not, something like the steath DAC, you can return it for $15-18 and then re-buy. Emotiva will have to sell you another new one at the sale price and also have a open-box they need to sell as a b-stock, which to me is just silly. Better off just refunding the difference. They are good people, just be polite and they try to help out as much as possible.

Hi guys, Enjoy the sales this year, as this is coming to an end. Beginning in 2014, Emotiva wil not be offering sale prices on our products. We feel the same as you do. Sales just make everyone sit on the fence until the next one, and they guys that didn't purchase at the sale price resent us. So, be aware that this change of policy is coming. Our prices are already so reasonable, there is really no need for a sale. We will, of course, be keeping our Upgrade For Life program, but other then that, we will not offer price reductions as a matter of course. Cheers, Big Dan I saw sale just got over on 4th August 2014, which is in quite contrast to the above statement. I really expect new sale coming soon as I have finalized my cart now!
