1) The firmware release is done... it will be online as soon as we can physically put it up on the site.
2) For the fellow who asked.....
The PT-7020C4 was developed to be a custom version of the PT-7020A with a Control4 remote control module inside it. (Control4 makes whole-home automation systems.) The C4 version was modified to physically house the Control4 module, which entailed re-routing inputs to connect directly to the module, adding a few buttons and indicators, and re-tasking several existing buttons to operate functions on the Control4 module. The project was cancelled, and we have a batch of the modified PT-7020C4 units left over.
The C4 version also gained an analog balanced audio input.
* Control4 modules can only be bought by licensed Control4 dealers
* Even if you could get one, you CANNOT add the Control4 module yourself because the module itself must be modified in order to be installed, and because you don't have the wiring harnesses required
* Even if you could get a module, and get it to work, the module that fits the 7020C4 is now an obsolete model
The point here is that, if you are willing to ignore a few extra buttons and lights that don't do anything, you're getting a great pre/pro for a really great low price.
The real differences are the addition of a balanced input, the loss of one video and one audio input, and some extra lights and buttons that don't do anything.
The extra network connectors don't go anywhere; the unit itself does NOT do streaming or network access.
