A) 200 WPC multichannel hybrid with ECC88's driving solid state outputs. B) 100 WPC push-pull all valve hand-wired stereo with no ICs anywhere in the neighborhood. C) 20 watt mono SET sold only in pairs with matched 300B's. D) USB DAC with valve buffered output and 3W headphone amp E) And of course the statement piece, a 200-pound 500 watt mono on a solid-copper chassis with an array of at least 12 tubes and an integrated LED projector that throws a blue "E" on the wall behind the amp, and costing just under $50K per side. Is it too late to ask for tube headphones? I bet they would sound warm.

I'd love to get a tube amp to replace my UPA-7 at a fairly affordable price. Better wattage would be ideal, even an extra 50-100 would be fantastic.

I hope for a couple of products in the $500-$1000 range, mono and stereo. I'd love to have one or two running my mains with my UPA500 for surround. Black, brushed metal Emotiva industrial appearance, blue tubes would be killer (switchable to amber if you prefer). VU meters would be killer, and while I do agree that McIntosh has somewhat of a lock on the blue meter look, their blue is a bit unique. I think Emotiva can make one their own with their blue.

I'd be happy with some teasers. I'm sure they will look great.

They sure have been tight lipped about these. I think the carver deal falling through put them back a little. I'm waiting for a tube version of the xsp-1.

I've actually changed my mind on this one. I'd be fine with a hybrid tube/SS or all tube. Would love remote trigger input so it could be triggered from another source. Amp only.

I'd love remote selectable tube buffer. In stereo or as a balanced mono buffer. Bypass mode when off. Then i can have tube sounds when I want them and not when I don't.

I'd like to see a release date as well as model & spec info , if we are to see an emo tube product in 2014 said products have to be at the manufacturing level as we speak so why not an informational update ? The offering of the Millionares Club at a $100k buy in could be a sweet deal & would be something i'd be interested in but not for home theater , if the 2 channel & tube lines were putting out enough gear & of wattages usefull in mega rigs quite a few 2 channel guys would consider jumping in , myself included just for the special serial number aspect & future collectablity but more info is needed , especially on the tube line , at the very least release some info on the top of the line tube components , price is meaningless specs are what many are waiting on .
Right now ive got roughly $15K - $20k in emo gear sitting in its boxes & a special one of a kind Mcintosh line array awaiting the tube line to triamp the 48 tweeters with so i'd love some info , even if it's a prolonged release date any news is better than no news at all .

Last year you were asking for a KT120 based power amp. Now your asking for an EL-34 based amp. What gives? Your homebuilt speakers so efficient you now want the added "warmth" of the El-34's? Personally, I'll stick with my KT120's or perhaps the new 150. And I'll pass on the triode. I like "tube warmth". I just don't want to swim in it. I don't care much about auto bias either, It take 5 minutes to bias my 120's every 6 months or so. Gives me a chance to tell them how much I care... I certainly agree with you on the heaters though. Peace. P.S. I hope you're feeling OK Chuck!

Last year I was completely certain I'd sell the Jolida's and grab some Emotiva Glass when it's released. Now I'd say I'm 60% certain of that. I'm getting a bit attached to my Jolidas. Peace. P.S. I hope you're feeling OK Chuck!

Speaking of basing.....
I just biased my Rogue Cronus,,, I would say that I want auto bias in Emo Glass.
It is not difficult per se, but for me it is a pain.
1- Drag the amp out of the rack 2- take the 4 screws out for the cage 3- Remove cage 4- Power on for 30 minutes. 4- Bias the 4 tubes 5- put cage back on 6- screws back in 7- muscle back into rack
It does sound Awesome after adjusting the bias... The deck is stacked against me on this one. I insist on using the cage to protect my 3 and 6 year olds. They are great around the gear, but they are 3 and 6. This also goes for being in the rack instead of on top of the rack. They never touch my amp or speakers, but ...

Although I agree that a EL84 seems like a small amp, I'd rather see Emotiva crawl before they run. The Iron for a KT120 would be very expensive and I don't see a unit for less than 3-4K even with Emotiva pricing. A compromise might be a KT88. Also have you seen the new KT150? Pretty tube! Link to auto bias module on Menno Vanderveen's SiteLook under the Valve Amplifier menu selection.

I thought given the direction things have taken recently, that perhaps we should start a discussion about what an Emotiva Tube amp should be. It is quite easy to get big power out of a tube amp, so that obviously would be at or near the top of my list. Also, some good, old fashioned VU meters, backlit with a soft warm amber glow would be nice as well. Auto-biasing, and some form of trim adjustment for gain matching as well. Being an all-new direction for Emotiva, I would also love to see some true "cutting edge" design work go into the chassis design, making these amps the definitive statement from Emotiva as to where they see themselves in the world of audiophilia. I don't really care too much on the price, as I know that they will be eminently affordable, given the huge prices some tube gear commands. I really love the look of the Ayon gear, and Conrad Johnson's upper end stuff. Maybe a designers sketch or two would be nice... It should have lots of transistors and PCB's
