I don't mind the writing at all. It's not over the top and I think it's good looking as far as processors go. But it's the sound that really counts! The writing does remind me of the EAD components from the 90's:)

I personally like the cursive writing, matches the ERC-2, one of a few sources it will be paired up with.

Man you all are picky. Really how many people go and look at your audio gear when you have company. Not a single soul from my side. This is a harmless thread but much ado about nothing really.

You know, I'll admit I didn't like the script font myself at first -mostly with respect to Gen 1 cosmetics. But on the new Gen 2 products, what with their slightly darker hue and black rails, the script is quite nice. The tone on tone contrast is appealing to my eye. I consider it a functional flourish at this point.

This is reminding me of Japanese gear from the 70's and early 80's. Anyone else remember the faceplate text that told you about everything you could need to know about the product, like "Integrated Power Amplifier Having Twin Torroidal Power Supplies and Easy-touch Volume Control with Super-Mega Current Flow Capabilities for Superbly Most Excellent Sound and..." (Typically, the lettering took a significant chunk of the area of the faceplate even though it was in a tiny font...)
