BoomzillaI wonder if there's any way, between FedEx and the UPS store, if they can confidentially check to see if the same driver handled both. Or, if the same person at the UPS store handled both. If either of those is true - you may be on to something. Mark It can't be the UPS employees - there is 100% video coverage on the store that verifies that FedEx never delivered. I'm sure that FedEx will be doing their own investigation (after all, this is the second big $$$ loss that they'll be having to pay). And I'm sure that they'll be looking for "coincidences" like whether the same driver was involved in both losses. So in short, I think it's already handled. Thanks for the suggestions, though. Boom Postscriptum: The "signature" for the supposed delivery was "GYOUNG." This is impossible since: 1. I was not at the UPS Store at the supposed time of delivery 2. None of the UPS Store counter personnel sign for delivery in my name - they use their own names. Therefore, FedEx's own delivery record proves beyond any doubt that delivery was NEVER made to the UPS store, and that the delivery record was falsified. Contact the FBI, it should fall as a federal case...

Since it was manually signed for, this was not some mistake. But somebody purposefully did this. Takes some real balls to be the delivery guy signing for a package. There's a reason the package is supposed to be signed for.

Contact the FBI, it should fall as a federal case... I have no standing. The shipper will deal with that.

The delivery confirmation claims that the package was signed for by "GYOUNG" - typed - all caps.

Working through PayPal, I've asked for a "cancellation-fee-free" refund from Tekton. We'll see what happens...

How disgusting. I get in my brand new pair of Koss titanium headphones, and the right channel is dead. Not a plug issue, not an issue with the inline volume control, just plain dead. One would think that QC check would have caught this. It wasn't any abuse because the package was factory sealed when I got it. I realize they were cheap, but I at least expected them to work.

Based on your missing shipments, the failure to get the Tektons shipped, and this - I'd say if it weren't for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all lately! Did you cross a black cat's path and walk under a ladder or something? Mark

I think I'll yield this contest to "Mrs. Mark."

If so, you can do free returns there. No need to print or box the product (just take your phone).

Most of hers is Amazon, but she also buys from a lot of stores directly and also from various small shops/artists who sell via internet. Mark

Holey-Moley, Batman - I've stumbled across the Holy-Grail of diffuser usages! Last time I moved these, I put them flanking the listening couch to good effect. Today, I moved them to flanking the insides of the speakers (diffusing sides pointed outward). Best imaging EVER. Like this: I also put the Emotiva T2 speakers up on about 6" tall stands. Positive diff again.

Boomzilla - what are you using as diffusers? Mark

ATS Diffusers: LINK I coated the fronts of mine in teak oil, but if I leave them where they are, I'll need to coat the backs too.

Once the weather warms up again, I'll slap some more teak oil on my diffusers. But the difference in imaging with the diffusers adjacent to the speakers is amazing, and I'm not indulging in hyperbole. With the diffusers placed where they are, I get a sharp and deep center image with more "outside the width of the speakers" information than I've ever gotten before. It is VERY pleasant. Is it unique to the Emotiva T2s? I'll find out soon. There are a pair of Tekton Design Double Impact speakers on the truck somewhere that should arrive late this week or early next. There are also a pair of KEF-R3 speakers coming sometime in the (relatively) near future. So the diffusers' efficacy will be tested thoroughly. So far, the diffusers are being reassessed as one of the best audio treatments my room has seen.

Due to the CDC recommendations, the boss and I plan to "shelter in place" until the COVID-19 vaccine is available to us. I've cancelled my offerings on CraigsList and eBay, and I'll have any further online purchases (including groceries) delivered to the house rather than to the corner UPS store. I'm unhappy about the additional restrictions, but with the growing prevalence of the virus in the general population, we wish to minimize potential exposures. This will also slow the throughput of review items in the audio field. After the current review obligations are completed, I'll not be volunteering for any additional reviews until I'm vaccinated.

And with the absorbers in place, and using the Black Ice Fusion F11 integrated amp, I'm getting almost "wrap around" effects from stereo speakers. Almost like Q-Sound. The soundstage is >90-degrees from the center. It doesn't wrap fully around the back, but it does go slightly behind me on both sides. I think that Mr. Fozgate DID include some sort of expansion circuit in his F11, so that may have a lot do do with it.
