oh, sorry, this is old, but let me update you. no, even though Emotiva has a record, you still need the physical card in hand. it's clearly stated in their rules. however, after speaking a quite a few people, my card was reinstated. i didn't get a physical card, but i am now in the computer system to receive the card. so, when or if the day ever comes for me to buy a new processor, i should be able to get my 40% off. i think i missed out when the XMC was $1999.99, it's $2,500 and not really something i want to spend that much money on.

Just so you're aware, the 40% discount does not apply to "sale" prices. The discount is based upon the full MSRP.

Oh, I know that. When the XMC first came out it was $2K (unless I'm really remembering it wrong) and if I would have jumped on it, I could have used it. I dragged my feet too long and soon after it went up to $2500.
