When I was at Emofest, all they gave me was free breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with free drinks and live music for hours and inside info on everything they are up to! Then, they gave me these "emobucks"...they were so hard up for money that they have to do that to get me to buy their new toaster!!! Which, by the way, is not even in beta test YET!!! How many years has it been??!?!?!?!

I finally started a thread that got you out of your shell,,,,,,,,,,, Im quit proud of that!!,,,,,he,,,,,,he,,,,,, Yeah man, it's the first time in weeks that I've come out from hiding under my bed. I even shaved today. I've been emotionally traumatized since that prank you and deltadube pulled on me during my initiation into The Brotherhood of the Monoblock Secret Society. Man, that was brutal and shameful. Next time, make sure the crocodile is asleep and the pretty girl is not actually a pretty guy.  |

My personal favorites are: 1) Complaints about specific Emotiva products and dealings with Emotiva from people who have all their gear listed in their signature, none of which is Emotiva. 2) People who post to a thread (XMC or otherwise) three times a day telling people they are fools for wasting their time with Emotiva and they need to move on, yet they seem to have the time to post the same single thought non-stop across the forum. 3) People who claim to have inside information about Emotiva or their products but can't back it up. Especially those who will tease they know something, but they don't want to type it for all the world to see on the forum. Why say anything at all? Unless your inside source is their best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend who heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Big Dan at 31 Flavors yesterday and he order two scoops of mint chip on a sugar cone to ease the pain of new delays to the flux capacitor amps that are coming out. This. Regarding #3, if anyone had true, actual inside information, they wouldn't be dumb enough to tease it on a forum - especially a forum directly linked to Emotiva. |

Well if Emo is going to hem and haw and stall on that toaster I'm just going to have to take my business elsewhere if it hasn't been released by June 30. I have endured too many uninteresting slabs of floppy flimsy flabby white bread with no character, counting on countless promises of a toaster to materialize which so far hasn't happened. No toaster by June 30 and I'm just gonna have to buy an Onkyo AVR to do my cooking. [edit -- I take back what I said. I just heard word from a reliable inside source that the reason for the delay in the toaster is that it is being fitted with a custom version of Atmos. Now each location on a piece of toast can have a specific degree of browning applied to it, no matter where you place it in the toaster. I am intrigued.. no, I not just intrigued, but obsessed, so I will now change my threatened release or go somewhere else date to July 31.] |

Is that oven just for commercial use or can it be used at home? Most home toasters don't have that kind of processing power or capability, do they? |
