I heard Hamilton Beach has a toaster coming out BY THE END OF THE YEAR that will toast 3 loaves of bread at once, but you have to mount it on your ceiling. Is that oven just for commercial use or can it be used at home? Most home toasters don't have that kind of processing power or capability, do they? Anyone company that refuses to add the overhead toasting capabilities is obviously about to go bankrupt and just lying to their customers, trying to scam them out of cash and lead them to believe there will never be a better tasting slice of toast than the outdated, obsolete COUNTER-BASED-TOAST SYSTEM they're peddling will make. It's all a sham and I'm smarter than you, which is why I will be purchasing this state-of-the-art Hamilton Beach Amplified Toast Making Overhead System (ATMOS for short) the day it comes on the market, because even though I've never tasted toast that was toasted on the ceiling, it has to be better than yesteryear's antiquated counter-toast system.

There's a new, state-of-the-art toasting technology called Patmos. The name is derived from the legendary Greek island known for, uh, perfectly-toasted bread. Not only do the new toasters have heating elements on each side of the slot (6 per side), but this groundbreaking technology also includes heating elements on the top and bottom of the toasting slot for a whopping 18 heating elements per slice! Although the technology is solid, there are still a few crumbs to work out (one of the beta units caught fire). Several brands of toasters are claiming "Patmos-Ready." I think it's going to revolutionize both commercial and residential notions of toasting and stuff. The best part is that it'll work with your existing toaster. The only thing you need to buy is a new toaster.

I'll keep checking back for the Emo toaster but we no longer need it.

Wow, I just can't wait, but they did mention something about a two year back log on processing. Does this mean delivery will be delayed?

I heard (from a usually reliable source) that the toaster is delayed because they are adding a higher resolution toaster heating element matrix. With this, you can program toast designs in an amazing 50x50 resolution. I think it's worth the wait!

That's only 25 x 25 or only 1/4 the resolution of 50 x 50 that jefft51 is talking about. Quit wasting our time.

I think all toaster toast the same, so most of the above is hogwash!
Just saying!

The vinyl has cracks, pops, and hiss. Too much power is causing the Smoky Joe to burn the meat.

It will have to be one kick-ass toaster to get me to part with my current toaster: (I actually have one of these. I received it as a gag gift--it was marked down from $350 to $50 at Bloomingdales. It does not toast as evenly as one would expect from a $350 toaster, but the electronic bread lowering/toast elevating feature saves a lot of pressing effort and eliminates the risk of toast ejection.) siggie

Well, there's that, and also they are waiting on the new version of margarine that is available...it uses object-based fat molecules that result in better placement of flavor fragments on the tongue to make the toast taster far better. And, the Emotoaster is the ONLY toaster that will take full advantage of the object-based fat molecules.

Wait a minute...this thread is so full of disinformation and lack of understanding, I can’t believe it is serious.
